About FreeSMS.ie

FreeSMS has been developed and designed by SMS Solutions Ireland, licensed by the Commission for Communications Regulation, and is one of Irelands leading innovators in SMS technology.

SMS Solutions clients range from local clubs like Pro Valley Rovers GAA in Cork to acknowledged IT pioneers such as Athlone Institute of Technology. Other well known clients of SMS Solutions also include The Educational Company of Ireland (EDCO) and Our Lady's Hospice in Dublin.
Hundreds of Schools also use SMS Solutions products through SchoolText.eu and SchoolText.ie. This service is secure and fully complies with the requirements of the Data Protection Act. Members numbers and messages are stored securely and are never shared with a third party.
FreeSMS.ie is completely reliable unlike many 'Paid For' messaging services which are presently experiencing serious delivery problems due to anti-spam measures taken by O2 Ireland. Paid for SMS services have also seen a huge increase in the cost per message recently making it impossible for schools to pay for SMS messages sent to parents.
